Bollards
Bollards are metal posts designed to catch the attention of drivers in order to prevent crashes around designated areas. These bollard barriers are often installed outside of airports, hospitals, banks, shopping centres, schools or other popular locations. Commonly composed of steel, bollards provide the physical strength needed to deter unwanted vehicular traffic and keep sites safe. Bollards are available in fixed, removable and collapsible models, yet they all offer protection from low and highspeed crashes.
Parking Posts
Parking posts are required to simply reserve an allocated parking area or areas. These are not used to secure a vehicle, factory or garage door.
There are four main types of posts to choose from:
Fold Down
• Offers simple but secure situations where security is an issue or vehicle access is not consistently required.
• These posts are securable with a padlock at the base, but they can also be key operated from the top.
• The post is foldable with little effort for ease of access
• Ideal as a permanent solution to unauthorised parking problems, protecting your parking space or to prevent people turning around in your driveway.
Removable
• Removable posts are designed for ram raid protection of shop fronts, personal car parking spaces, reserved parking spaces.
• These are a cost effective solution to preventing access to unauthorised vehicles and suitable for allowing occasional access
• Provides significant protection to parked cars or caravans, drives, forecourts and commercial premises and are usually locked in place overnight and removed during daytime.
• They can be locked and unlocked in a matter of seconds and can be removed easily when not in use When the post has been removed the base socket has a hinged lockable lid.
Telescopic
• Telescopic parking posts are ideal for protecting vehicle forecourts, commercial premises, car parks and domestic driveways.
• The post is raised and lowered vertically. When lowered the post is fully below ground and covered using the integral lid.
• This is a simple, cost efficient telescopic parking post which is lockable by padlock. It is a highly effective way to prevent unwanted vehicle access and deter ram raids.
Post & Chain Combinations
• These posts are perfect for use cordoning off car parking spaces or other off limit areas.
• Ideal for car parks, driveways and pedestrian only areas. They are also commonly used in parking garages, private roads, and any other area where you need to restrict access to vehicles.
• Each post has integrated twin eyelets at the top to accept the chain
Barrier Gates
If you looking to control the entrance to a car park, block of flats, barrier gates are the best solution here. They are the first line of security which will help control and monitor traffic flow.
These gates are installed with a mid or long range proximity reader. This type of gate system will open automatically when a vehicle approaches it with a properly programmed card or fob.
